New Google Lab’s Feature Allows Offline Gmail Access
In the past week I have made the full switch to Gmail and I am loving it. I have been using Apple’s Mail forever but I am not a big fan of their web interface. After reading a few articles about how some people have switched to Gmail I decided to give it a try. So far I am enjoying the way that I can fully integrate my .Me account as well as my other personal email account with Gmail. It offers great spam filters and features. For the first time in a long time my inbox is empty. I get to create task and documents right from my emails. Needless to say my productivity has increased.
Today Google released a new Google Labs feature for their Gmail service that will allow you to use Gmail off-line and on-line in your browser. This is truly fantastic since the downfall of web based email services is that once you are offline it does not work for you. If you are currently enjoying all that Gmail has to offer, take a look at this new feature.
